SoL (Summer Of Love) Party is a great two day open air event held between Friday 3rd August and Saturday 4th August, on private land near Tunbridge Wells, Kent, U.K.

Run by Grateful Dead fans for like minded individuals, SoL Party boasts a top class line-up, with an emphasis on classic psychedelia and “outsider” folk

Also those hepcats Stranger Remains will spinning some groovy platters, so to quote The Grateful Dead, “the music never stops” from 10 a.m to midnight…..

There’s on site camping, a great bar with real alea nd fine catering (with vegetarian options) at unbeatable prices.
Next to the bar/catering area is a second stage, with some surprise guests ensuring a non stop flow of music.
SoL Party is for members only, but I’m throwing open SoL membership to Facebook friends, at a bargain price!

FRIDAY 3rd August 
THE PRETTY THINGS – this will be the last time! The Pretties are retiring at the end of 2018.. “The most exciting rock & roll band of the last 50 years who are still on the road today” – Jack White (White Stripes)
CATFISH JOHN: A four piece tribute to The Jerry Garcia Band.
CROOKED WEATHER a fine rock infused folk band.
SARAH TONIN – great four piece alternative psych /space rock band.
EDDY SMITH & THE 507– an electronic funk, blues and soul band named “Best Unsigned Band” at the “Best of British: Critic’s Choice Awards”.
KATIE SPENCER – a progressive-folk singer /songwriter who plays fabulous reverb-laden acoustic guitar.
SAM BROTHERS – a singer/songwriter/with an astonishing voice!

SATURDAY 4th August: 
THE AGUILAR BLUMENFELD PROJECT all the way from the West Coast of the U.S.A,  ) with BARRY “THE FISH” MELTON (Country Joe and The Fish)
THE MUFFINZ POWER QUINTET – top Zappa tribute band with special guest MIKE KIDSON of The Australian Pink Floyd !
BRUCE BARTHOL – (Country Joe & The Fish/Formerly Fat Harry)
KEITH CHRISTMAS – legendary acoustic singer/songwriter/guitarist
DUBBAL – psychedelic space rock/reggae festival favourites
RON TRUEMAN-BORDER – an excellent singer/songwriter and guitarist.
THE GRATEFUL DUDES – this top Grateful Dead tribute will close the weekend with a 2 hr 30 minute set!

SoL Party is a private group with three tiers of yearly membership. You can’t “buy” tickets, you have to join SoL Party ,as follows…

SoL Party membership to include both days – £70. – or £75 with camping .
SoL Party membership with only one day of SoL ( Friday or Saturday) – £40
Accompanied nnder 16s half price, and under 12s free!

There are a couple of additional charges:

Camping Thursday 2nd August (for the start of event next day): £5.
Car Parking on site – including campers – £10 (subject to availability) or free of charge in the field adjacent to the site.
